The Footy Stars Hobby release features a number of the insert sets which also appear in the Footy Stars Retail release together with some exclusive Hobby insert sets.
The inserts which appear in both the Footy Stars Retail and Footy Stars Hobby are the Base Parallels (235), Mascots (126), Essential (90), Milestones (97), AFL Classified (150), Numbers (216) and Iconic (72).
Insert sets exclusive to the Hobby release are Carbon (90) a series featuring some of the games best players on a cat-eye foil board with each card individually numbered to 195, the Brownlow, Premiership, Coleman and Rising Star Platinum Predictors all individually numbered to 60 only.
Also included in Footy Stars 2023 Hobby is the Spectrum Redemption Set of 2 cards for all 18 teams. Redemption 1 redeems for the 2023 AFL Captain and AFLW (Season 7) Captain of the team featured on the redemption. Redemption 2 redeems for the 2022 Best and Fairest of the AFL and AFLW (Season 7) of the team featured on the redemption.
